Building on our success in supporting the development of Practice Based Commissioning (PBC), Scott McKenzie Consultancy has now developed a separate legal entity to support, Practices, Consortia and PCTs with all aspects of Service Provision; this includes a full range of services to help you put together a competitive response to any NHS Primary Care tender.

Scott McKenzie Services (SMS) can assist at all stages of the process; within SMS we have a specialist team of lawyers, accountants, financial advisors and tender/bid consultants; this also includes all aspects of human resources.

We offer these services at all stages of the process, from Expressions of Interest (EOI) to Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) to responses to Invitation to Tender (ITT).

Dependent on your needs, our support covers;

Bid writing – you provide the information and we will write the bid

Editing – you have already drafted a document, but feel it needs to be rewritten or amended and finalised

Proof reading – you are confident that your content is comprehensive and correct, but want someone outside of your organisation, with an understanding of the NHS tendering process to check your submission for accuracy.

All of our bid consultants have had extensive experience of working in Primary Care, and understand what a PCT is looking for, (as they used to develop the tender documentation for PCTs) the scoring system used in the assessment and therefore what it takes to win a tender when it assesses PQQs and responses to ITTs.
